Terrance Hammerstrike

Colonel Hammerstrike has organized a squad of volunteers to maintain order in the city. As a military man, the colonel strictly abides by the rules and loves order in everything. Though he may seem harsh and taciturn, inside he's actually a gentle fellow. However, he puts the safety of the townspeople above all else and devotes all his time to Darkwood's affairs.

1. Who's your closest friend?

I consider every comrade-in-arms my friend! But if we're talking about those I'd trust with my life, it's definitely the Seeker.

2. Are you a family man or made for the service?

I've always dreamed of having a large, close-knit family. Even though my job doesn't allow breaks or days off, I always try to find time for my loved ones!

3. Do you let your beloved puppy, Resonant, sleep on the sofa? 

I try not to spoil him too much; he's a service dog, after all! Although for now he's just a service puppy. Which is why I can never say no when he looks at me with his little black eyes. Have you seen how charming he is? And when he sleeps, he twitches his paw and snuffles . . . Oh, sorry, I got carried away. 

4. Your appearance has changed a lot recently. Do you miss your old look?

I've always dreamed of growing a mustache! I think it makes me look more . . . trustworthy! Don't you like it?

5. Do you believe in fate?

Of course! How else can you explain certain coincidences? Not long ago, the Fortune Teller's weekly bulletin said that everyone born under the sign . . . Or rather, of course, I was told that's what it said. I've no interest in that kind of literature myself. 

6. How did you cope with being rejected by the girl you were in love with?

I'm a military man and mostly don't have time to dwell on my feelings. It wasn't easy, but now I see it was the best for everyone. Because now I've met my true love!

7. Recently, a journalist found a notebook with poems signed by T.H. on a bench in the park and immediately thought of you.

There could be many with those initials in Darkwood! It couldn't have been me. I'm a military man, what poems?! But the notebook . . . can you tell me who has it now?

8. Are you still afraid of the monsters that appear in Darkwood because of the Ghostly Mist?

I admit that sometimes I still feel uneasy about sinister shadows and bloodthirsty monsters. But it's just a momentary weakness. Behind me, the people of Darkwood need my protection. And no fear will make me break my oath and duty as defender of the city.
